QUARTZSITE

Every year in January, a lot of our members make the trip to Quartzsite, Arizona. For the uninitiated, this is Mecca for rockhounds. Anything and everything remotely related to our hobby, can be found for sale here at bargain prices. Several shows take place around town from January through March. Many clubmembers meet at a group campsite located north of town on Plomosa Road, mile marker one, south side of the road,and share a Saturday night potluck dinner at the end of January.
